Monique Byrne
Monique Byrne is an Australian artist based in Launceston, Tasmania. Painting and drawing throughout her childhood, Monique had not picked up the paint brush again until 2017. Reintroducing herself to the craft has been both immensely rewarding and challenging in equal measure.
Monique uses acrylics and watercolours to capture scale and diversity in Australian landscapes and interest in ordinary objects. The body of work shown here is a glimpse of pieces past and more to come.
